After joining PTC as vice president of global marketing, Marcio Souza quickly moved into his current role as chief operating officer, where he is responsible for the integrated program teams and leading the global marketing, market access, and health economics areas. Prior to PTC, Marcio was the executive director of marketing for NPS pharmaceuticals – where he led launch preparations for NATPARA® – and worked at Shire HGT. He holds a pharmacy and biochemistry degree from the University of São Paulo and an M.B.A. from Fundação Dom Cabral in Brazil.
